Hi! My name is Josh and I’m passionate about creating games that change the world for the better.

I’m studying Game Development and Entrepreneurship at Ontario Tech University in Oshawa, Ontario and I’m currently in my last year of study.

To the outside world, I’m a camp counsellor, educator and leader!

To my professors, classmates and the community at my University, I’m the President of the Game Development Students Association – a student organization dedicated to advancing the careers of students in our program by hosting events, game jams, workshops and networking opportunities. To school administrators, myself and my team work hard to ensure that as a smaller community, our needs are not forgotten when compared to larger programs

I love working on games and, as a game designer, my ultimate goal is to create experiences that resonate with individuals or that bring groups of people together.

I’m inspired by the fact that the people behind games have a variety of unique skill and capabilities, and I’m constantly amazed by how those different talents come together to create an end product that provides people with a form of interactive entertainment and storytelling that has never been possible before.

I’m constantly trying to learn new things and improve, from how to organize my somewhat frantic schedule to understanding how to create and stick to new habits and reach my goals.

When we live in a world where information is at our fingertips and everything moves so quickly, its easy to get lost in the chaos. I believe that slowing down and taking the time to remember who we are and why we’re doing what we’re doing is the key to staying afloat in our busy lives. Each new day gives us the opportunity to be try something new, and iterate upon the person we were the day before.

I’m excited to continue my journey as a game designer and game programmer! If you want to chat, feel free to connect with me at [email protected]
